I have finally finished the book. My goal is to be able to capture some elements that I felt were essential to the story. I found the meeting between Patrica and Olmy to be a pivotal moment, where the future meets the past; where her self discovery moves to the next level.
the immediate story -challenge for me-
is to portray her initial surprise upon coming upon the "boojums" -correct me thats is what they were called? Olmy and the Frant look down at her from a higher vantage point creating more of an intimidating factor.

The shape I have created for the asteroid is reminiscent of a Klein bottle my interpretation of the corridor folding in on itself.

Compositionally, I want to direct the eye from the character interaction to the mutiple earths mirrored through the stacks of alternate universes. And finally to the top right where the world within the farthest reaches of the corridor exists in near chaos, plasma tube and singularity occurring in random interweaving patterns.

here is a stab at the frant

In my initial sketch I have Olmy pointing down the corridor as he says we live down there, but perhaps it it should be more subtle. This is my first challenge, the work here is astounding, I am late to join, but am glad to be taking this on, I welcome any crits.
