View Full Version : Fluid quality
SebastianB 12-26-2006, 02:22 PM I've made a normal 2D fluid which is in general okay, but i have a problem with its aspect near the fluid emitter, it looks like pixelated as you can see... It's rendered with a Shading quality of ten, and i've proved to change it resolution but when i do it (proportionaly as it should be) the fluid is not emitted.
Am I forgetting to set any value? Well any suggestion would be good.
Thanks.

This is a better example...

Any idea??? I could`t find a solution to this problem.
As nobody replies I add another problem that i´ve been having with fluids.
I've made only a few fluids, and in all the cases the fluid is shown being emitted from an emitter; I mean, if i wanted to have a fluid flowing in a container, but avoiding the emitter, without the "origin" place or the source of the fluid, the fluid is there, just flowin`around in the air.
Which may be a way to obtain this? Any idea?

In the Fluid attributes, after shadine, there is Shading Quality. make this as "smooth", and give the quality value to higher(around 6 to 20). This will slightly increase the rendering time.
Also check the emitter density per voxel value.

Yes, I guess that my density is the one problem, cause i had to give the fluid a density scale of 4, which is a high number.
But i have thee shading quality very high as to increase it more. But I'll try with it again.
Thanks friend!
