question: what is the problem?

sounds like its not your problem, more a school problem(grafish Lyceum I pressume?).

if your school cant find you a place where they have " internship work to do" .

or did you need to arrange the internships on your own?

I arranged 1 on my own and the other(first one) was arranged by school.

both didnt have alot of work. but I made sure that I could learn couple of apps(Flame, Smoke, and couple of realviz apps) and help with tape-operation(digiBeta,SP,Umatic) and preparing broadcast/commercial graphics(converting/scaling/etc).

that stuff allways needs to be done.

next to the " all in a days work" they had a inhouse animation project going. learned alot from that to.

all I am trying to say is: if they dont have work.. make some.
ask your "boss" if they or you could arrange some stuff that could be made(let it be company promotion stuff or r&d)

then its a win-win situation. boss gets the research, and you get the experience.

hope this helps any.

good luck there :)

I personally dont like games stuff, I am more into broadcast/commercials.(during my internships I got to do both things and games just are to "non rewarding" imho unless you do the cinematics).

but now its graduation year-time, so I am concentrating on my portfolio and hoping to get a job somewhere after I finnish this school.

cheers
