This is a low poly model of priss from bubblegum crisis in her hardsuit I am trying to keep all my models under a thousand. she is currently 694. Let me know what you think. This is like a series of models i have done just to test how much i can do. ( i have never really model much before.) Also i have a low poly airship i posted in the wip board that i want to bring here. is there a way i can do that? or do i just repost? thanks

btw, it looks like you're using 3ds max and the "wrong" polycount. try converting it to editable mesh to have the correct triangle-count.

thanks for the link! i may just enter!
it is not a triangle count. it is an editable poly and i used the polygon counter tool. that is how i was told to figure the correct poly count at school. if this is wrong, could explain to me what the point of it is?

It is wrong indeed. You have to convert you 'editable poly' object to a 'editable mesh'. You will see that the Polycount is about twice as high then...
In poly-object mode, the polycount tool counts only the definded polygons (*duh*).
When by converting to an 'editable mesh' (and also later in-game) the polygons with more than 3 sides are broken apart in triangles. Then the Polycount tool counts the triangles which is mostly a much higher number. When talking about "Polycount" we actualy mean the number of triangles because most rendering systems, especially in games support triangles only...
