Made this in my first days of bryce 3d, was digging through my old images and decided to retouch it. what do you think?

20k for an image forumn is crazy

um, not a lot to it. cant tell too much about the geometry with this style of render. maybe lighten it up and show more of just the mushroom!

20k is better than having to pay a membership fee for the forums, tho perhaps they could instate a fee for upped attachment space, make those who use it pay for the bandwidth i suppose.

that's a great idea! 20k per image free, charge people for more. or better yet, charge for uploads in general. there are ways of getting webspace, and if you're serious about this field, then paying to upload images is nothing.
