Howdy !

yep... VideoPost is an utility in Max that basically lets you attach different motion clips into one, and/or add post-production filters and effects to your clips or stills.
Works pretty much like Premiere, maybe a little less powerfull.

You'll find it under Rendering menu, and it's use is quite simple (look up the help files), basically, add an input event (like, a previously rendered clip), add a camera event, add a filter, and an output event (define where it will be saved, format and suchs), then setup your filter, and render away.
You don't actually need an input event to be previsouly rendered i think (?), you can directly render a scene and add filters and stuff.

Starfiled is one of the effects you'll find in "filters"...
(don't mind the words i use they might not be correct, i haven't been using VPost for a while)

hope this helps !

Keep in mind for work in video post this tips:

1- add view for where you want to happen the effect (camera, perspective).

2- add a filter to this view (in this case starfield)

3- made output file (export your movie or your still)

remeber you need read the help for more detailed information.
