reaperman 02-17-2003, 01:54 AM hello there, i've just used a transparance map tp texture the hari pf a model. but the parts that are supose to be invisible are not totaly gone. can anyone tell me why ...
by the way. the it isn't cus my texture was not black enough...

I want to see a screen of your hypershade with your transparency shader network.

Look in the attribute editor for the file node you are using as a transparency map for the field 'Color Balance'. Color Offset should be completely black, and Alpha Offset should be set to 0.000

And you also have to put an inverted version of your transparency map in the specular color channel. What you see is the specularity of the surface.
