CGTalk - IK elbow issue

I made a small video of the issue. I have a pole vector constraint behind the elbow and the little white arrow on the ik is still pointing at it when it flips.

This is my first real rig ever and I think this is pretty much the last important kink.

Well, it's hard to tell with the geometry in the way but the only thing I can guess it the control is getting so far behind the joint chain that it's having difficult aiming at it.

Try moving your pole vector control closer to directly behind the elbow. Not that it has to touch or anything. It may just be too far off to the side for the math to work there.

look like because ur arm is straight u didnt set a prefered angle on ur arm tried to set one that should fix it.
