View Full Version : Voodoo 5........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well my break just started for my course in Maya and we're not alowed to use the computers at school during the break!!! So on my system I have at home I have a Voodoo 5 video card. Maya be crashin when I open up the hypershade or whenever I do anything! Sometimes I can get by but other times it freezes up. So I'm thinking that its the voodoo 5. I'm looking into a different cards right now like the Wildcat or Geforce 3....what do you guys suggest? thanks :)

its the voodoo... they can't do hardware overlays... geforce2s and 3s work fine though and i'm sure that the wildcat can :D
