View Full Version : Maya reseting my System

Yeah, for a few days, after I did a few things in Maya, it resets my computer !!!!!! I can`t understand why. Only thing I found is it makes this, when I press spacebar and after that boom!!

I uninstall and install it but it still continues...

Any ideas??

I am using win2k with Sp1. I think i will format my system and setup again...

Your problem may be caused by one of two things:

1: If you have enabled the 'Show All' option at the HotBox, Maya sometimes crushes. That's why it crushes when you press Spacebar. The only solution to that is not to have everything shown at HotBox.

2: If you've got a GeForce 256 Asus 6600 Deluxe or a similar card by the same company and you're using the latest drivers, you will experience a lot of troubles especially rebooting. The only solution to that is to use the drivers provided by nVidia (the latest detonator drivers found at the official nVidia site).
