Are you not using a spec map on you're "next gen" character? Basphemy! A good one will really take this guy to the next level.

Thanks, Juddwark. I gave the character spec maps, but not strong. For I hope it looks old.

In my opinion Your model doesnt look like "next gen" let me try to explain:

...i dont know if 9000 polys is good count becouse i dont know how many poly has games nowdays but i think that you could better distribute those 9000 on that model, and add more detial...second thing is a normal maps with are practicly invisible, or effectivly covered by diffuse map, wchich could be better, there is no such thing like "mood" in your textures...about specular...kill me, but i just dont see it. Your idea is good and promising, dont take my way of thinking as an attack to You, i just want to say that You should practice and practice ;) Greets

Thank you JmTm00. I understand your mean. It is true that I need to try hard in my way. I am practising every day, hope my next work can be better.

i think your stuff is looking pretty good, you wouldnt know that it was a 2048 texture based on the way it looks on the model, you either want to pack in more detail or scale it to a 1024.

Overall it does look pretty good though it just has a bit of an amateur gloss which can only be broken with alot of practic. that is about where im at, its kind of frustrating really.

Thank you LaughingBun. Just like you said, I am a amateur in game. I don't work in any "next gen" game and don't know how they finifshed. I have a lot things should study, and I need more and more practise. It is hard to me, but I will try my best.:)
