No comments? I actually need to be more active myself in replying to peoples post, so I guess i can understand how it is easy to pass up on peoples post. Anyway I hope people enjoy my work, im workin on a few more anims to add to the reel and maybe flop out a few, the run cycle is going to be redone, i like the timiing on it but I think it could flow a bit more. Ok well its late and i need some sleep, Have a good one guys, and thanks for all the driving inspiration.

THanks! ALOT! I really have been working hard, I have been working professionally as an artist/animator for the past 4 years for a slot gaming company and reallly want to up my skills as an animator, so I spend day and night drawing and animating, looking at people everyday to see what kind of movements they have, the more i learn about animation the more I see how far I have to go, and it rocks because its such a fun journey, you have successes and failures, but when somthing comes across and reads to the viewer its totally worth it. ANd if what i did today is better then what i did yesterday then im happy! Thanks for taking the time to check out my stuff!

Thanks so much! I loved 40 year old virgin, and that was one of the lines that was in good taste to use so I had to use it, Ive been having a blast with Peter Starostins rig, and pulled an all nighter tonight to work on another clip http://www.dondixon.com/blockbuster1.avi still wanna add a few tweaks but I need to go take a nap LOL. Great reel! Acting out comedy is not easy. You did it well. The part that really caught my eye was the dancin' fella at the end. I'd like to see more of that. It's good and way too quick. Oh man -- dialogue is just popping into my head...
Great Reel! Especially the music. It doesn't distract from what's on the screen.

Thanks alot man! I actually dont know how well i am at acting out comedy yet, I think the clips and the vocal performace helps sell it for me right now, But it is definatly somthing I want to master one day in the distant future. I was really close to just dropping music entirely from my reel, cause i hear so many times that companies dont listen to them, at the company I am currently with we do whenever we look at reels, But im glad this wasnt too distracting, I had this techno beat i found a while back that was to the tune of super mario brothers, it was a bit too much, but I just loved it, but in the end yanked it out. Anyway thanks so much for the comments!
