I am trying to access selected keys through scripting but I don't know how.

I can make a collection list of all keys in a scene/object, but how do I figure out if keys are currently selected or not?

the AE has been worked on a lot (SDK and GUI sides both) for v6, but what you want to do isn't hard, and it's possible already.

look up FCurveEditor.SelectedKeys, it will return a collection of keys for the Fcurve, you can run that on as many curves as you want and create the context yourself as you go depending on use.

btw it's fairly easy to get to in the docs, even with the crappy chm search engine ;)

Hmmm...it appears I have to create and install a command to access the properties of this object...oh dear...
