Been trying to figure out how to create reoccurring Pflow effect where the emitter turns on when itís contacts or is close to object and then turns off and by distance. Deflectors work ok but only good for one touch. Or is this a scripting thing ? Would love to have it keep going on multi contacts / objects over time. Any input would be much appreciated.

did you try to put a shape or shape instance node only into the event AFTER a collision? that should put out a renderable particle shape only after a collision occurred...

While the Render Operator is placed in the Emitter event by default, it does not have to stay there. You could set one event to non-renderable (like Phantom) and place Render Operators in other events set to Geometry to get only spawned particles rendering.

One could for example constantly generate non-renderable particles at the emitter and kill them after a frame or two to keep the count low. When a particle is contacted by a deflector, it would move to another event and either become renderable itself, or spawn any number of renderable particles...
