So I've been trying to figure out a way to accomplish this:

https://www.trueceramicpro.com/vcc/worldwideexcellence/trueceramicpro/232494/

The video in the top left corner, at 0:33, shows hair being straightened. I can't seem to figure out how to get the wet ragged hair effect in Cinema 4D. I know that it's probably just masked when straightened/flattened, but how would I get it to move and pull in like that?

Any suggestions? I don't have the HAIR plug-in, so I'd have to do without that.

best way would be with HAIR or with Mograph. What modules do you have would be the best quesiton as every solution I nca think of involves one module or another. Hair, Mograph,Sketch and Toon, or Mocca. need one of those for modules for the solutions I can think of

Thanks Lucent,

I don't have any of those, to be honest. So which one do you think would fair the easiest? I haven't any experience with HAIR or MOGRAPH but those and MOCCA sound like the best solutions.

Guess it's time to shell out for those plugins. =\
