hello guys, i have been working on this car for about a week.... on and off, and i am currently at this point with the patches.

look at the hood, at the 2 scoops. see how they are a different patch then the rest of the hood, well, how would i weld them?
i used 2 patches there, while just in front of it, there is one patch (this is what i am trying to weld to)

if i join the 2, is there any way i can weld the ends to the single patch so the curves line up? this happens at 3 other places... and it is causing a gap in the car :(

I don't think you can straighten Bezier Patch verts with each other automatically. I recall playing with this once and not liking that I couldn't do it. Or maybe I just didn't spend enough time trying to figure it out.

I would:
Convert to Splines
Weld the offending verts
Make them Bezier
Add Surface modifier
Convert back to Patch

From what I recall about going back and forth between Patch and Splines, your handles should be retained, so you won't have to re-tweak them.
