WIP on a kick... still more left to do, but how is it so far?

Hey Denil,
Great start. I like that you've already taken followthru into concideration on the bow. First of all, the kick is extremely slow. If this was your intention (for a Matrix effect- which I strongly recommend against; it's soooo overdone on reels!) you'll need to move the camera around the character or something in order to allow the viewer to know that it's SUPPOSED to be slo-mo.
If it is not the intention, I think you may be falling into a trap all animators have made at one point or another: make sure that you don't get caught up in trying to see every piece of the motion. What I mean is, go stick in a dvd of a movie with a kick like this. The movements are quick, the person can only stay in the air for a few frames, so you'll want to make sure to reflect this with the animation. Remember: many of the most believable segments of a successful animation are the moments you FEEL, not necessarily that you see.

Good luck!

Travis
