Unless this model is for a game or something, you shouldn't be incorporating lighing shades into your colour map. This will then look odd when you place it into a properly lit environment in your software.

In terms of your unwrapping, you chose a very bad spot for the seams - how are you going to eliminate the seam running down the front of the face? Also, your textures are mirrored - never a good idea ;)

The green tones look really odd. You should have rather used pale shades of blue - I have yet to see a person with green in their skin unless they are seriously seasick :)

There should be NO black tones in skin. You would never seen black in skin the way you have put in on the lips and eyelids.

Overall, I also think it is a little too saturated - it is way too orangey.

the color is pretty obviously wrong. skin tends to look slightly pink instead of mad orange :D the green touches make him look like he decays :p

as for the shading.. what leigh said:bounce:

oOo...thanks for your points.

I think my monitor is really calibrated wrong, the colours look and feel totally different on my friend's and school's computer.

For the greens on the head, i just over did it.
Wasn't consentrating on that part.
Anyways there is really some green under the hair of the head. Go have a look in the mirror, lift your hair and look closely at the skin under, a slight pale green can be seen. This cause it is not tan, like a sick person...

yeah...Good day!

Besides what has been said, always over-paint your texture edges, to avoid seams like the black one you have.

Keep it up, you're off to a good start!

Here is some texture reference from the Final Fantasy movie:

it still does a little bit of shadings, the corner of the eye, the cornor of the mouth. it is just not as obvious as like whole map is under shadings.

Yeah. The idea is to remove as much shading as possible, so it won't "fight" with the scene lighting.
