Silo 2.0 Public Beta 4a available for download

Just so it is clear you must be a registered silo 1.4 owner to have access to the beta's.

Yup. Big selling point for the current Beta is the Normal Map export. Very quick and very easy to use (I'd never done it before using Silo 2Beta 4 and got a good map first time out!).

The new beta is great so far, I'm loving not having to use an external application to bake out the normal maps now. Never got xnormal to work properly on my system so this rocks!

Very cool, the sooner I can stop doing tricky ZBrush tricks to get from Silo to Maya the sooner I'll be happy!
