Title: Cave City
Name: Bence Kresz
Country: Hungary
Software: Photoshop
When i started to paint this image i do not know what it become. I wanted to pait a cave some bridge in rainy weather. After 2 hours i played with hue and changed this yellow/orange mood. The early version has many big crystals but i did not like it and i removed that. The result now a bit organic, a bit hi-tech.
I made it about 10 hours in photoshop with tablet.
Please tell me your critique for this image.
Thanks to see.

Thanks friends! I glad you like it. This time I did not pay attention on perspective, color or lighting. I just drew and this is the result:)
Here is a work in progress image (i used only one layer for this image and it was a backup before started to draw the foreground structure.

Wow, this is exactly one of the styles I personally prefer, the whole legendary sci-fi environment just reminds me all about ancient architecture in the history of mankind.

Amazing work of great creativity. My first thought was that this is how I would imagine D'ni. The famous underworld town in the "Myst" books from the authors Miller and Wingrove. :) Britta
