Very cool effects...

I liked more the smoke effects and the bouncing ball (stair).

Hm its more like "Tutorialsreel" becouse i thing more of those fx are basics in maya, but its not a problem....you didnt show what YOU have to offer...know what i mean? but its nice for eyes ;)

Yes, some (three/four) of this fx are not so difficult, but infact (like you have said) they were made to show that i can use also these techniques...if they are also nice for eyes...better :)
