I'm going to buy a macbook (not a macbook pro) but it's video card is very strange (the intel one). It has a acceptable performance on rendering and modelling with high poly count?

Maybe I should spend 2k dollars and buy a macbook pro?

Or there is another notebook (PC one), for about 1,5k (1k preferable) that can give me better performance with 3d programs?

I don't need a big screen (17" and 19") because i'm going to use the note everyday and the weight is very important for my buying choices. The 13" or 14" would be the better options for me.

Danielvan!

I love my 13" macBook -- but I don't think it would be my first choice for any kind of intensive 3D work.

More importantly, if your intention is to use it with Z-Brush, you should know that (unless there's been a recent patch that I missed) ZB will NOT currently work with Intel / UB macs! I've read a few posts of people getting it to work thru Rosetta or other work-arounds, but I've had no success at all.

Thought you should know.

Cool.

I think i'm going to stick with a PC notebook. They're cheaper and with better specs for working with Maya/Zbrush/Modo/After Effects/Flash, my daily work tools.

Thanks for the support.
