"Cats are evil"

These are the rules:

You have 60 mn for your sketch. IF you go beyond the assigned time limit , you have to post WHATEVER you have done after the time has expired, along with the FINAL drawing.
Post only your FINAL piece on this thread, based on the topic on the thread.
Only final pieces can be posted on the thread. They must have been done AFTER the topic has been announced.
RESOLUTION : The image can have any aspect ratio up to 800 x 600
They can be done on any medium.
If you wish, you can add a brief text description about your piece.
Only original compositions. No "tributes" or plagiarizing, unless is it an integral part of the challenge.
You can post an entry at anytime for the topic presented on this thead BEFORE the voting thread for THE WEEK has been posted.
The artist also has to post total length of time it took and program used.
Any piece caught breaking the rules will be taken off the thread.
The topics will be picked at random from the list on the TOPICS thread >>LINK<< (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php/?t=145003)
(The author will be given credit). So guys keep them coming.
You can add multiple entries, but please dont post WIP (Unless you intend to update them).

...Except that I absolutely adore cats.

"Cats are evil" : thats totally not true, they are sweet and fluffy, just like mine (based on my little monster laying right beside me) She tries to be evil though... up to you to decide if she is or not... :D

Photoshop CS2, exactly 58 mins. Wanted to add the fluffy hair yet, but was outta time. Nice work guys !

I refuse to draw my cat evil, he is sweet and kind and caring and SO cute...oh yeh he is very very evil too, but that is why I love him. Nice sketches. ;)

I got the idea for this from Art Spiegelman's comic Maus.
After 15 minutes it seemed no more such a great idea, it was a pain to finish it.
Photo ref used ...there seems to be some kind of internet phenomenon for
posing your cat as Hitler and photographing it, try to google "hitler cat"...weird!

Gary, great rendering for just a couple of hours.
Vana, took me a moment to realise he was sat on a bom, but made me laugh ot loud when i did!
Zryq, the idea of a cat as hitler weirds me out for some reason.. O.o
Gulkan, I love the highlights on the various surfaces, really make the piece pop!

GaryBedell's cat's menacing expression and that wiggly tentacles reaching up around you
Zephyri's appears to be a ritual sacrificial gathering for some sort of evil worshiping cat cult

well executed.

Some funky sketches here, all good efforts in their own right, no doubt. But I am either too lazy or too busy to comment on all... you decide.
