Hi there
http://redakce.digitalmedia.cz/upload/images_clanky/505/web.jpg
Idea:
I spoke about CINEMA 4D prmitives with one of our costumer and he is really very frustrated from them. He is not satisfed with "radius" primitive settings and he cry for "3ds primitive settings".
OK, but there is really very simple way how can we get the same result by XPresso, and this is very easy. Thus I prepare a few complex (but easy to settings) tools for everyone, who likes "diagonal" primitive editing. I named these tools A-tools (architectural tools, the user is an architect).
You can find these object in one file our download section on
http://www.3dsoftware.cz/download/DownDetail.aspx?ID=451
This file contains two files: a browser library file and pdf manual. This manual has international screens and it is in czech and english too!
library file contains 5 objects, three primitives A-Cube, A-pyramide, A-cylinder and two NURBS objects A-HN and A-LatheNURBS.
Advantages of A-primitives:
easer to set, better snapping etc. Cylinder sub. settings can be controled by camera distance, you can set Z independent on X size
Advantages of A-NURBS:
camera distance controls subdivisions...
A-Cube settings

A-cylinder settings

A-HN
(it is upgrade of my older XPresso settings, there are few little improvments)

A-Lathe
