View Full Version : stlylus and mouse unsmooth curves

Has anyone else experience this, it's like you're painting with solid lines? i tried my mouse and tablet with photoshop, *works fine with painter* and when i try and draw some curves it sort of hardens the turning points in the curve. i included a picture to help you understand what i meant.
I'd really like to know what the cause of this is. *the yellow lines are meant exagerate what i'm trying to convey.

sorry for double post, i responded saying i fixed it when in fact i haven't, no luck yet.

Try enabling the "smoothing" checkbox in your brush settings.

Hmmm I had smoothing already on so no luck on that front

Make sure Smoothing really is on--I know I occasionally find it turned off for no apparent reason--and try closing all other programs. When my computer is stressed, it tends to "hiccup" in the middle of strokes.
