I think theres too much noise in the whole scene, but further more it looks quite nice..

The noise are generated for the vray direct computation, but I like
this noise, because give other atmosphere to scene.

Looks nice, and the noise gives a special atmosphere to the scene indeed.

I like it but I think the bump value on the ground or wall or both could be turned down a bit

Hi there,

The textures look pretty good, but they don't seem to be weathered enough. Some things do & some don't. I'd like to see more staining on the wall near the electrical box pipes. And add gunk where the wall and ground meet. The stark line that they create is overwhelming.

I'm not sure what's going on with the bucket, but both it's texture and the texture of the water don't look real. I can't tell if it's supposed to be a flower pot with a stick poking out of the dirt or a mop bucket with the mop in some really dirty water.

The lock on the red thing next to the door looks totally flat, as if it's part of a texture and not geometry.

The wooden steps at the entrance (I'm guessing that it's wood), looks more like velvet than wood. This could be a lighting issue that is causing your textures to be washed out, but I think you need more detail in there.

Overall, I think the image looks flat. I think it's the combination of the lighting, which is a bit boring, and the textures, none of which seem to be interacting with one another or have had effect on one another through the ages.

I don't think it'd take much to bring this image to life. Maybe a couple more days of tweaking.

Let's see the next one!

Alec

Now that I'm taking a closer look at the picture, the half-stones of the pavement seem to dissappear under the wall. This way it looks like the wall is place upon the pavement, which is not very realistic. I think you should move that stones so that a hole stone begins where it meets the wall. An maybe some weeds can be placed there too, to make it just some more realistic.
