Hey Gentlemen, Ladies...

Ive been playing quite extensively with Maya's Fluids. After alot of playing around and reading im tempted to say that i understand the principles quite well.

There's one little thing that i dont get.

How do you "scale" a simulation?

Here's what i mean...

Lets say i have a Fire Simulation.

Resolution is 30,30,30.
Size is 10,10,10.

Emits:

Density - 2
Heat - 4
Fuel - 2

The rest is obsolete...Turbulance, Shading, etc...

With those i get a perfect looking Flame.

What if i need a raging fire. Hell-ish.

I cant seam to get "smaller" flames...I tried up-sizing the container's size while scaling it down or the opposite...

Hope my question is clear.

Thanks to all for your precious time.

increase the simulation rate scale under dynamic simulation for a faster 'hellish' burn, maybe increase the emitter turbulence as well. For a smaller intricate fire, increase the resolution of your container and scale, then add a few more emitters, say 10 and sit back and wait for it to cache.
