I'm trying that old chestnut via Sketch & Toon but I just can't get the clean result I did via the old Cel Renderer trick. If you look here you can see the difference:

I can't just stick with the Cel Renderer version as I want to export as Illustrator and that is only supported via S&T. Does anyone have tips or better yet a preset for doing this cleanly in S&T. I've been going through the manual but their good looking technical samples don't seem to use the same sort of intersecting organic geometry as I have here.

Make sure to switch off all the line types apart from "Edges" then reduce the width of your lines down to 0.5, then if it were for a render you'd go in the post effect settings to up the line aa to best, unfortuantely the aa in sketch & toon on very thin lines isn't so good, but as you're outputting to illustrator that shouldn't be a problem.

I'll check on that tomorrow, thanks Per.

No, I think S&T just can't cope with this geometry as well as Cel Renderer did. It's struggling to hide the eyes and mouth interior.
