All right guys, now I'm trying to make something here, a Girl with a magnum gun, she is afraid, but she believes in her self, shes sweating, bleeding and hiding from a close death, but tries to take her last best shot.

that's a long story in a small frame..lol, so I will take sometimes with this, so feel free, because I want to make it the best as it could be, so Masters, help me!
here are my 1st steps:

Still Underpainting ...

Thanks a lot Cookiedough, I promise to work on these things, specially the eyes peeking, that's a great idea!!! it would really take this work to a greater value , I really appreciate it, but while you speak I did some editing, so I'll post them anyways, and I will edit the other things and post them tomorrow inshaAllah. they shouldnt look like these results finally, but I want to know what do u think of the sweat as a start, and that blood injury.

and yes I had a reference for the gun, just for a while to see the general concept, I have to draw her hand holding it.

Looks really good so far. ^^! Her forehead looks better now that you added more hair to the front, and I really like the coloring of the face.

Her bottom eyelashes look much thicker than the top, though, you might want to change that.

Keep it how it is. The diagonals make it much more dynamic and interesting.

"CrazyBoy, thanks the idea of this one is about the title " Tough enemy " so she has to be scared somehow so I could deliever this meaning, what do you think of this new hair color??

DigitalDust . I appreciate your support and thanks for the explaining about the Magnum gun, I donnow wat to choose now lol, but maybe the 44. gun. I say your right about the her pose, and it looks much better, I have made some few changes here, notice how the eye had been edited, but I still think it's missing something?
and I changed the color of the hair too. "

I really like the work so far, and I feel it will be a great picture :)

Since I am not an expert on the subject of critique I can not offer some grat advice, but I can tell you what struck me as odd. The gap between her mouths is a bit too wide, I believe you are trying to make it look as if she is scared, but somehow I feel it is a bit too much. Maybe you could experiment with different mouth positions and see if it will help change the atmosphere.

Anyway, she is the girl with the gun, and I think she is not that easily intimidated, so maybe you could only try to present the fear through the eyes, that's where the fear is most obvious.

I hope this helps and not only distracts, keep up the good work.

The eye is pretty odd and unrealistic. It looks like it's staring completly perpendicular to the face. What would be the right eye looking at then? :S

I like her face and colors a LOT, only thing that I find odd is her eye. It looks a bit out of place. Maybe it should be a little lower, closer to mouth. I am not shure of this, but try it.

If you are having troubles with the 'placing' of the gun, I suggest you to shift it behind the girl.

A better trick can be this one : go to the mirror, bring with your hand an object and see in which position it looks better and finally paint the gun in the same way ;)

Looking forward for updates,
Serena.

Isatche: thanks alot, I really think that the eyes is making the whole trouble of this image, I 'll edit that up.

CyborgJA: I wud really think of what you had suggested, I think it'll have multiple options then.
