View Full Version : mograph_image texture that sticks?
gildattack 12-13-2006, 12:17 PM hi everyone,
i've made some experimentation but i don't seem to get what i want. I'm trying to apply a texture which is a square image, to the entire square array of clones that i have. Ok so far. When i apply transformations to the clones the texture doesn't stick to the clones. I've tryed the stick texture tag, also applying the texture in diferent levels of the hierarchy. Obviously i'm quite new to mograph. Any ideas or tuts?
thank you

Unfortunately this is a limitation.

hi mikeh64,
i've through those tuts, they are great. Although i think in 1 of those series this issue is mentioned, i don't remerber watching any solution to it. i'll look into those again.

ok, there goes another approach. I could define the animation and bake it, and apply the texture afterwards. The thing is i'm not sure how to make a keyframed animation out of the 'bake' tag. Any suggestions?

hi, me again :)
think i got it. I tried with capuccino first which didn't work. Afterwards i baked the object via the 'funcion' menu in the timeline. Worked!! i apply the texture and it sticks to the clones. The bad thing is that is no longer editable (obviously). Thanks for the help.

Unfortunately this is a limitation.
No it isn't. Just click the "Fix Texture" option in the cloner.
