Hi, this is my first post on this site.
This is my problem.
I don't have any hair or cloth plugins, but what I do have is the free cloth sim program. It works great for table cloths and curtains, but How do you make it work on a Chinese robe for example.
Or any method that looks good.
Lets say a guy has a robe, and I only want the bottom flaps to animate like cloth.
I know that in the video game Mortal Kombat Deadly alliance. They did not use a cloth program, they made a system that worked with deflectors and was easier on memory.
Is there an easy way to get real time video game quality cloth animation.
I tried using flex, but it doesn't look right. :thumbsdow
I am just about to graduate from collage, so I know my way around the program, but I am no where near being a master. So please speak in lames terms, (STEP by STEP)
Any tutorials would be great.
Thank you for the help, it is greatly appreciated.
By the way, I am using 3D studio max 4.3
I also have max 5, but I never use it.
