MrSolo 02-15-2003, 03:16 AM Hi...
I have posted this thread on the WIP room, but I guess here is the right place....
I am trying to improve my animations skills. I am doing this animation test.
Critiques to improve it are really wellcome!

Hey Mr. Solo,
I saw your animation and its looking great! I only have a few coments that hopefully will help you to improve your overall character animation.
1) At the start of your animation the character leaning against the pole is completely frozen in his pose. Nothing living is ever frozen solid like that so you should probably move his body slightly to give him more life. Just a slight sway will do the trick.
2) At the end when the second character gets punched, I would like to see him hang in the air longer. It just seems like that whole action goes a little too fast.

Hi,
The animation looks fairly good except for the punch sequence. He steps forward with the right leg and punches with the right hand. It is possible, but it looks awkward in this case.. I would recommend setting up the punch by doing a quick step forward with his left leg insted of a leap with the right. Feel free to disagree, this is just my opinion..
Cheers,
Steve
