It is a improved version of my current site, I need some feedback on the background, foreground and text colors?

I will probably do the topbar in a flash animation and have electricty go though it. :)

That looks pretty cool. I think that it would look even better if you made the links neon lights. Have some letters busted and others blinking on and off. My 2 cents, good job so far.

very nice job. I agree with mohh though you have cables going into the top plate with your name but no electricity. It would give it more character to to follow his other examples about the broken letters and such.

Maybe even some sparks around some of the wires/lights. I think that the white background contrasts too much though. If you don't want to use black, how about gray?

Arrrggghhhh !!!! Please ! Please ! Please do not add blinking lights. I got so irritated with those blinking, animated GIFs from the late 90's.

The design looks fine, but you are really limiting the space needed for content. How will you display your images ? Will they all fit in the small main content area ?

Possibly have the left side menu use a little less screen real estate.

P.S. I like the contrast of the white background. You might even think about changing the content background to white as well to help the over all design blend better.

ok thanks guys,

The content table is 430 pixels wide, which is what I have now so I can manage

The rollover image for the nav buttons will be neon, and I will make the top bar in flash and have that as a broken neon sign that kinda blinks and stuff (no gifs)

Some other people said the white backround was too much of a contrast, I agree I will make it light gray :)

I think the background should not be so bright =) I think that the background color for cgtalk would look nice in this case, or some sort of rusted metal color.. =)

I like the texturing though, and your website loads really nicely and quickly!

I like it ... realy my only comment is that if your not gonna make the content area an iframe consider makeing the menu smaller to help loading times because there still is people out the with 56k and slow computers.

when you export the flash, click on Publish Settings and then check the menus, you can disable the menu so people cant zoom in on the flash animation...since zooming kind of sux :D

and couldnt you load everything up in a frame instead of reloading the whole page?
