Is there no-one that can help me with my displacement map issue in the above image, I've got 2 weeks to finish this thing b4 christmas, and I've using the exact same method for the other meshes on the character and had no problems.
This is the route I take:
1. Low poly model in max, unwrap UV's, make sure no overlap, then export.
2. Sculpt in zbrush.
3. Restore to lvl1, create new 4096x4096 texture (which resembles my unwrap)
4. Then under displacement, I turn on 'adaptive' 'smooth uv' and 'mode' make the size 4096 and hit create displacement map.
This is the process I used b4 and it worked fine, the only thing I did different with the head was readjust the pivot under tool>previw, cos the head was in a turned pose so for symmetry reasons I has to change it, but surely this shud not affect UV's?
Also when I go from lvl5 (highest) to lvl4, then click on delete higher, and then create the disp map, the map seems to work, so what cud it be in the highest subd lvl that's causing the issue?
Plz help anyone, I'm about to try my laptop version of zbrush to see if ti works in there, I've tried the forums here and couldn't find a solution.
Sonder!!
