hi , ive just started to work on an old piece and i need some texturing tip
how do you think that i should texture the black areas of batman ,
i need to give them some lether look but still keep the animated look to it ,
should i put a shiney material or should i color the black areas with lights in ps ?

i would texture him with a very dark blue/grey so it is almost black. Then i would add very soft dodges to add form to him so he has a latex look. Then as far as texture goes i would put most of the texture in the spec map so it doesnt overpower the model. ANd make the specular like a blue/purpleish color.
