View Full Version : Need Help
Ribcage 12-10-2006, 08:23 PM Hey all, I did this the other day. Not the greatest painting ever but it's the best I can do =/
Any help improving my technique would be much appreciated.

Um.. I guess that you should start with working on anatomy and perspective. Try looking for books about that in your local book store maybe?

You could try anything by Burne Hogarth, such as "Dynamic Anatomy", I found these quite useful, he also does a book called "Dynamic Drapery" on how to draw clothing etc. Or there's the classic: "How to draw comics the Marvel way" it's got some good basics of drawing figures in there.
All the books mentioned are available on amazon. hope this helps!

thank you both for your replies.
To be honest I was asking for advice in relation to painting in photoshop. Guess I didn't really say what I was looking for.
None the less I'll look into some anatomy material.:)
