Yep first one:)
I've been following a litewave tutorial someone pointed out a while ago on www.evil-plan.com (sorry can't remember who it was but big thanks) which I've been using to make my first head, just adapting it to C4D.

I've already made quite a few mistakes and by the time I noticed, it was too late to fix them without ruining everything else (somehow I even managed to get one loop merged into another loop without noticing :surprised ).

Anyway I finaly managed to piece bits and bobs together and this is what I've made so far, I'm still ahving some major problems with the mouth and the nose & eyes don't look perfect so any pointers anyone has I'd be grateful for.

And C&C is welcome aswell :D

You've got a nice mesh there, it just needs a little organising. :) I usually find the hardest part to be the nose, once you've got that sorted the rest pretty much follows.

What type of head are you going for? Young, old, fat, thin etc.

The mesh is quite clean, you have to pull and press vertexes and edges for another hour imo... don't forget this thread http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=38469

Phas: Thanks Phas, I'm not actualy certain what look I'm going for any more... it started out as a more slender face and then slowly became fatter as I pushed and pulled points to clean up the mess I made of it. I'll probably make it a bit more slender after I cleaned it up more.

Thanks and seeing as I thought I'd probably have to spend anotehr 2 hours on it atleast I'm happy to hear that, although after reading through that thread I think I might re-think a lot of those loops and clean up some of the un-needed polys aswell.
