so i have a scene where a target camera is cloned once with random and time effectors applied if i put just the camera in the cloner it wont be pointing at the target anymore, if i put them both in the cloner is practically the same the target moves along with the camera...
so how can i move the camera in the cloner keeping the target still and active?

Use the target effector, the problem is that I don't think you'll be able to use the cameras in the cloner (unless that was changed in the cinema core) as it's not directly within the scene (being a virtual child of a generator object).

i think you're right...it doesnt work as a camera... in that case do you if with the tracer object there's anyway that i can make a spline out of the path defined by the effectors moving the cloned camera?

cause thats the only way i see to have a lot of cameras moving at the same time to pos edit the various movies.

You can use a matrix object then use xpresso to grab the matrices and set your cameras matrices from them using the mograph data node.

You can try the align to spline tag with the trcer object, however as the tracer is a constantly regenerating animated spline this might not work.
