Yes, a 3-button USB mouse (e.g. Contour Design UniMouse) is required for use with Maya.

A|W offers several training products including a Getting Started on Mac OS X DVD.

Is that the best one to get? Are there others?

wonder if Kensingtons 4 button 'Turbo Mouse' would work. Might want to look into it.

I'd check out the Wacom tablets that have the 4D mouse included. I've been using a 9x12 SE for a year or so and it's great...5 button mouse for general use and a pen handy for tight texturing/ paint effects stuff.

I tried out a button mouse with the middle button being a scroller, but i didn't like it. Does anyone of a mouse with 3 buttons no scroller?
