View Full Version : Glossy Refractions on refractive glass dont show up blurred on reflections!?(XSI-mr)

You can use the reflection_diffuse node from the raytracing section. There is also the raydepth slider (like in L-Glass). By default the raydepth for glossy reflections (and I think for glossy refraction also) is set to 1. It's maybe also possible to edit the default phong spdl, but I not sure about this.

I just tried the Diffuse_Refraction on my transparent grid/window and now it looks blurry -glossy as it should when seen reflected on specular/sharp/reflective objects ,works like expected (like L-Glass).Thanx for the link!What would be better though is to change the spdl of the phong like you said , so the deafault shaders work as expected in the first place.
