View Full Version : Customizing the Max Interface! HELP!

Hey everyone. I am trying to customize the Max 4.2 interface so that I can Pan, Rotate, and Zoom using the Middle Mouse Button, the Left Mouse Button, and the Middle+Left Mouse Button respectively. I'm used to Mayas interface and I thought it would just be cool if I can speed up my production time by customizing the Max interface. If you can help me out I'd appreciate it!!!! Thanks!

Not possible. The same kind of "not possible" you'll find in Maya. No program seems to take this into account as of yet.

with a tablet wacom and with a four bottons mouse, you can costumize your functions as you want.

Nothing changes but the actions you assign the buttons on the Wacom mouse.

Indeed though, if you can live with using that there is the possibility of aquiring the same interface. Ish. A clever workaround.
Not one I've ever been able to get working to any satisfactory degree though.
