View Full Version : Slow down animation
Reeder113 12-08-2006, 04:44 PM I'm working on a group project right now involving some large, futuristic ships, and some smaller fighter ships. The scene I'm working on now is a fly-by. One of the large ships flys up very close to the camera, and some of the smaller fighters zoom past between the camera and the bigger ship. Everything looks good so far, except that everything is too fast. I know that I can shift click the keyframes and drag them out to make the object move slower, but I don't want to have to do that to every single ship, and the camera. Does anyone know of a way to select everything and make it twice as slow?
Thanks,
Reed

If you're using Maya you can do it this way (if you're not using Maya then it'll be different)
Go to the Dope Sheet, in the panel View>"check" scene summary.
In the dope sheet there's a row that's the "Scene Summary" you'll see all the keys set on every object. Now just select all of them and scale 2x, you'll want to change the scale settings a bit.

Perfect! Thanks for the info. You just saved me loads of time! I knew there had to be a way to do that.
