basically i have a complex polygonal shape (kinda rectangular) and i want to copy and join this shape ten times, whilst also curving it into a 90 degree curve..
heres a good way of explaining my problem.

say i make a simple polygon rectangle, then copy it ten times and connect them to make a wall with ten sections to it,,,
what way could i then make this wall curve 90 degrees ( or to look like quarter of a hollow cylinder...

Im looking for methods other than using a non linear bend deformer.

I hope that I understood what you want to do correctly.

Basically, what you would have to do is to move the rectangular shape away from the origin and move its pivot point back to the origin, in such a way that if it was to be rotated, it rotated around the origin. Then duplicate it with several copies and a certain amount for the Rotate Y value.

The exact amount of how far away from the origin, how much of rotate Y and the number of copies will greatly depend on the size of your rectangular object. You can find these values by trying different ones until you get it to work, or you can directly firgure it out with some basic trigonometry. Let me know if you need more help, I'd be glad to help! :)

That was the most useful and best answered reply I have had on any forum....

I have moved the pivot like you did, and everything is sorted now..... thank you so much!
