hi,
i am animating across a big plain/polygon with a photoshop file applied to it as a texture.
Essentualy i am using it exactly how you would use the backgorund object to help place things (matte painting)
the only thing is that the resolution looks so, so bad, when i am working. i need to be able to see where i am on the texture (the whole pont of putting it there) for now i have to render the screen to see where i am. And doing a preview shows a very ugly pixelated texture that makes no sense.
is there a setting somewhere i just overlooked that can remedy this?
i have never used camera mapping, but could this a be a solution? how would i do this.... in the mean time i will look up a tutorial on camera mapping.... but i dont even know if it will work.
of course, there might be a setting in the backgorund object that will allow me to move a camera across it instead of it "following" the camera....
