Hi,

I already do that in the past but I just can't remember how :(-

So, How can move bones ???

I want to delete 1 finger and move the others to make a 4 finger hand from a 5 fingers one ...

Thanks in advance ...

Is this using MAX5?

Using MAX5, go to Character menu -> Bone Tools. Selec the bone you want to get rid of, and hit the "Remove Bone" button.

:)-

It's ok to delete, that was not my pb ...

The pb is to move a bone (and is children)

thanks...

Ah.

Hit the Edit Bones thing then in the same dialogbox, and you can move them around as you see fit?

No :(-

I almost write that in my previous reply !!
Edit bones mode doesn't do the trick !!!

Edit bones allow you to "resize" bones along their axis, by deforming the connected bones ...

That's not what I need, I just want to simply move one bones like if it was a regular object. With the children following but not the parent ...

Thanks to bother anyway Gaggle

unlink the child from the parent and then move it

Ah right, sorry for the misunderstanding.
I still would imagine selecting all the bones you want to move, then going into Edit Bones mode, would do the trick?.. Edit Bones mode makes a bone ignore it's parents and children (how cruel! :), so maybe it'd work as well...

Anyway, good that it's solved at least.
