I have created a sphere, and I'm trying to aim constrain it to a locator. The problem, is that every time I constrain it, the sphere rotates so that the sweep (I'm not sure if this is the correct term for it. I mean the line the sphere opens and closes along when the end/start sweeps are modified.) faces the locator. I need the pole to face the locator. Does anyone know how to adjust the aim constrain so that the pole faces the locator? Any input is much appreciated, thanks.

In the attribute editor go to the aimConstraint node for the sphere. Try playing around with the aim vector. When i did it, you should have 0,1,0 for the values to get the pole pointing to the locator

Before you do the aim constraint, rotate the sphere the opposite to the way it rotates (wrongly) when you add the aim constraint, then freeze transformations. What this does is add an opposite "wrong" rotation which the aim constraint then fixes.
