View Full Version : First Poly Model.(Its a girl too!!)

Hey guys. This is an update on my first aproach to modeling in poly. I'm used to using nurbs, so to improve my skills, I took the time to try and learn poly. Crit this please. Thanks guys. Im getting there. Mad props to King Mob for helping me.

Nice start, looks like the ear is a separate model? I would work on that area a little more so it looks attached. Good work!

Thanks Guys. I will post more soon. Need some time off of work and the girl. I will keep working on her. Oh yea, the ears are not attached. Im still wroking on them. Once I get them done, I will attach them. Then finish the body. Her body is almost done. Just need the hands and a bit more detail. Then I will model some clothes for her. Does any one have any easy Ideas for her hair? I have no idea how to make her Hair. Any help would be sweet. And some clothes Ideas. Thanks everyone.

that's the most perfectly round head i've ever seen. Cool look, but probably not what you want. I would say that it's a great start but certain things are a little off. Like the eyes are good, but needs more details on the sides. Also I'm hoping that the ears are a stand in for now. They look like NURBS ears, which are nice, but i would totaly make them poly so it can be one piece with the head.:)

are the ears attached to the head?? Something looked odd about it. Maybe it was the light. Maybe they need to be ore tangent. I like the updated ear however. Keep up the good work

The ear is seprate. I have not attached it yet. Just wanted to see how it will look. All I need to do is finish the hands and put more detail in the feet, and attach everything and finish her off. Then I will begin making clothes for her.
