View Full Version : Where are the brushes preset in C4D 10 ?
tanuki 12-06-2006, 02:18 PM Hello all C4D's friends !
Just a little question, In Bodypaint (in c4d 10) when I click on the brushes preset I just got an empty window....there are no brushes anymore ....? What's wrong with me ? Do I have to use the content browser ? If yes, how can I do (I mean how to import the presets and assign it to the brush) and where do I find the brushes...? I looked in the c4d and bodypaint directory and wasn't able to find....
Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi. They're in the same place as they were in 9.6. You can either click on the small triangle as per the image or select the brush presets from the menu. The brush presets in the Content browser can't be select and are only there to view (Strange but that's how it is).
As for the files are. My guess is they are one of the library files ending in "lib4d".
If you're getting an empty preset window maybe you need to reinstall R10?

Thanks for your help 3DKIWI (and thanks so much for your huge work on your great site !), but I just can't see any preset in the window when I click the little triangle...the window is empty...I did not mention it's the c4d 10 demo maybe that feature
is disable on the demo....I was thinking the demo was fully working and we just can't save files....no?
Arrrghh ...anyone has an idea ?
Thank you.

I don't think the preset libraries are included with the demo version, unfortunately. If you have them for R9, you should be able to copy them from/to the library\browser folder.

Thank you Rick !
I just sent the c4d 10 demo to the garbage can and reinstalled it and now it's working fine, I suppose something went wrong when I installed the demo at first.
