you cann link the layers to each other. This for example can be done by clicking on the link button and dragging it to the layer you want to link. click for picture picture (http://www.grouprrr.com/www/reply.jpg)

Pre-composing is the equivalent function. If you just want to share transform operations, you can also use parenting or expressions to link your layers.
