hey ppl. I have recently started using maya 4.5 complete on OSX and was wondering if anyone could help...

I have a microsoft mouse which has two buttons and a smaller scroll button in the middle which you can push down, in maya by holding alt and using left and right mouse clicks I can navigate the perspective, but the pan doesnt work when i hold down the middle button... id there a way to assign panning to the middle button?

Also I cant seem to create sub d's... an error occurrs:
// Warning: Node creation license for node type 'subdiv' not found. //
// Warning: Cannot modify 'polyToSubdiv1'. Node edit license not found. //
// Error: Command polyToSubdiv failed. Open Script Editor for details. //

any ideas?

Also in maya unlimited I used to model by converting polys to sub d's - I cant find this in my version - does complete have this tool?

and one more thing, does anyone know of a tool similar to 'bandsaw' in Lightwave? I think there is a plug in or something for this...

Thanks if anyone can help!

Sounds like you have a licensing installation problem. I'd recommend contacting Alias at the phone number they provide for these kinds of problems.
